Chateau Thomas Strikes Gold Again! |
For the Second consecutive year, Chateau Thomas Winery has won the "Gold Trophy" of the Taster's Guild International's Annual Wine Lover's Competition held in Washington, DC in August, 2009. Over 100 wineries enter wines for the to
competition. The points awarded for Gold and Double Gold Medals are added upname the winner. Chateau Thomas' 4 Double Gold and 2 Gold Medals were tops.
In addition, Chateau Thomas was awarded 5 Silver Medals and 4 Bronze Medals. The overall medal score was highest in all the wineries who entered. Joe
Borello, President of Taster's Guild, an international wine appreciation organization, stated, "Holy Cow, Charlie (Dr. Charles Thomas), you won again!"
Taster's Guild is an International Wine Society that has over 40 local chapters, a quarterly magazine, wine tastings, wine cruises, and many other activities.
